Got the shits!! Was not happy with the finish..... So I rubbed it back today then gave it a heavy clear flow coat. It is 10 times better now!!!!! So now I will just rub it back with 2000 then give it a buff. Should be a much better and quicker result

It's going to be heavy with all that clear on it. Might need a bigger turbo. Looking good. Can kind of see what it will look like in the pic with the wheels on.

Are you going to do black outs around the windows or bonnet?

            Cheers lads.
Lightyear- I don't intend to do the blackouts on the bonnet and door frames. But will see how it looks as it's an easy thing to do later. I'm liking your idea though on the bigger turbo. I'm thinking I could possibly fit a second turbo on it soon after it's finished:w:

blackout would look good, but hard if you got rid of the chrome trim

If you want to go faster why don't you just carby it?

Got this running on the weekend. Windscreens should be fitted Tuesday. Drove it back and forwards but I have next to no rear brakes. Bled the brakes over and over again but still shit. So I have removed the master cylinder to have it inspected. Also need to remove the trans to fit a manual valve body. Little bit of wiring left. Definitely on the home stretch now

Master looks like it is on a steep angle. Is there a port at the high end?

                    And awesome work.

Cheers mate! Master is actually fairly level, probably just shit photos haha. Port at the high end? Apparently some people remove a bias valve?

Just throwing it out there... Just read entire thread (freaking awesome btw) and you swapped to slider brakes on rear? Make sure bleed nipple is facing up not down... (silly mistake i made when fitting my brakes, just complete oversight...)

Some masters (vt's into early commos for example) used in conversions end up at funny angles, allowing air to pool at the high end but nowhere for it to go when you bleed it if you didn't bench bleed it. Probably something else.
