Business case. These are also lighter than stock. The stock fronts are 19.9kg with tyre, the bigger and wider Enkei's are 19.5 with tyre. Safety first.

Went and got the tyres mounted at Rob's yesterday and fitted them today.

Looks great! The staggered wheels look good with the big front brakes. The front brakes also came up a treat

So thought I'd do alittle go instead of show.

Took my cheap arse turbo and manifold around to RZ's place. I had a issue where I have a T4 exhaust manifold with a T3 turbo housing. I did get an adapter/converter thing but that ending up putting the turbo into the next postcode due to the manifold design. So I asked RZ to help me. Ended up he tapped new bolt holes into the manifold for the T3 bolt pattern. Works a treat.

However, that left a bit of a right angle step inside the manifold as it went from T4 outlet to the T3 inlet of the turbo. So plan was to remove some of the T3 housing so it flows better into it from the T4 manifold.

I had to open up the wastegate hole anyway as it wasn't the biggest and didn't port match the wastegate as all.

                  As you can see.

I know the gap between the inside and out is alittle thin but I think it should be ok.

So, why does finished have "? Well I fucked up, used the wrong side of the gasket as the template so the hole is now offset. Yep, clear fuckup but this is where I'm glad I get a cheap noodle turbo. New exhaust housing for it is $99. So will order another I think and give it another crack.

Was the turbo made from cheese hence easy to port?

Cast cheese yes! The shit gets everywhere. The wife thought I smelt of blood when I got home. Had a shower and I think I rusted.

I saw this in the flesh yesterday. The wheels are absolutely spot on size wise. I have serious wheel envy.

If you can be assed, I made my own out of a cheap as Bunnings weed sprayer, a piece of 10mm ally plate and some neoprene sheet and a couple of bolts. Agree only way to go doing brakes on your own.

Car looks ace mate, wheels are perfect.
