So yeah, sold my CV8Z Monaro to pave the way to be a family type bloke and in the beginning I was looking at SS's, SSV's, Redlines, then had a few cans one evening and started to look at Clubsports and found a VERY low km one in Newcastle, then had a few more cans another evening and thought why not check out GTS's as it would be cool to have 2 "GTS" badged cars in the garage then boom, found a car, low kms, the right colour, owned by an old bloke, so I bought it. It's now on the way over from the land of WA so I figured i'd stake a claim in the street cars thread.
2008 HSV GTS (dec build, MY09), stock as a rock!
Has an LS3.
Has a 6spd auto.
Has monster sized brakes.
Has 4 doors.
Has a boot.
Those last 2 things my old CV8Z never had.
It's essentially a practical (and cheap) car that both the wife and I can use that still looks kinda cool. Plans for the future, nothing... not a god damn thing... Well... maybe a VCM intake so I can still keep the MAF, set of 4-1 pipes and cats and just polish up the tune when I can be bothered, oh and maybe convert the head unit to an E2 IQ3 setup, all lotto winnings dependant.
