I'll see if diaphragm is salvageable from melted booster first and rebuild wrecker one.

Chuck, yeah or take a spare one way valve and suck on booster. Or just get warranty on item instead of being tight ass.

Melted booster was fairly simple to fix. Undid the nuts at the front and swapped over the front plastic cover. Yay

Fuck, cranked on the co2 and tried 2 step in garage. Savage 20 psi. Spool wasn't long either, almost same as old turbo.

When I pull exhaust off and run 4" race side pipe. I need to be able to video the 3 ft flames . Lol

Rims and centre caps looked a bit ratty so cleaned them up and hit with a few coats of high temp caliper paint. Not sure if I mentioned I also got some new 205s for causing duties the other day.

Also finally had a play with 4" race pipe. Last time I tested it , almost a year ago, we had issues with boost creep. But a 1000 things have changed since then, like braided teflon wastegate lines and also co2. Anyhoo, no creep , Yay (no redesign wastegate position) . However no visible difference on 2 step as well compared to full exhaust. One thing I did notice it takes 1.5-2s to spool over old comp wheel. See if we can tweek it with tune. Be interesting to see if it makes any more hp without exhaust. Going in to run it up on dyno next fri

Also, after driving it a few times it seems to be a degree or 2 warmer sitting in traffic for long periods (95-100 deg). Freeway seems fine at 92ish deg. This is with race coolant and electric water pump in line. Temps drop super quick when I turn it off and run water pump and fan though.

Might play with running electric pump all the time, see if it helps.
