Don't think I've got a datsun at the moment, give me a day or two and I'll check

Pretty sure they're meant to have LTs and split rims.
Dunno, they're rated at 1060kg each :shrugs:

Ain't stock then, they came with a NA diesel that made about 30hp. 0-100 in infinity

NFI, I think it's the same as the 2.8 in the '90s Hilux. TBH I didn't even know there was such a thing as a Dyna 150, I thought they went from the little 100 straight to the bigger 4500kg ones.

Yeah the guy I bought it off reckons it's basically a cab over hilux lol

God, I hope I don't need to go to a two piece tailshaft

Tailshaft dropped off and will be ready Wednesday, which is good

We have one of these at work, it’s a water truck it has a 1000+ L stainless steel tank on the back and a hydraulic lift on the back so you can reach the arse of a 747

It’s a shitbag, and auto, but it’s been going for 100 years

My pants woul be brown trying to keep it on the road at 100k’s with the weight it carrys

why not put a lazy axle under the back of it and extend the rear of the chassis (and add more brakes that it will desperately need being a Dyna) rather than break it's back?

I hardly think it'll be breaking it's back but we'll see

Surely a second hand hilux turbo kit should be all it needs motor wise if its the same engine.

It's a Dyna, you don't want it to be fast.
