Rust in the bottom of the doors and bottom of the rear quarters/boot area is a factory option most of these seem to have. I have some decent W108 doors here in SA if you decide to work with a less rusty base. Great project - I've got a 280SE and I love it.

And Bahaimus has found out that the six speed from the Chrysler crossfire is a direct fit for the motor I have!!

I hope my eyes are playing tricks on me but the bottom of the doors and boot look abit rusty.
                  How cheap is cheap?

Has country surface rust. Most of what you see inside seems to be dirt but Iíll do a proper assessment when (if) it arrives.

Cheap enough that Iím not going to tell you how cheap lol

"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

I have a NAG-1 floating around here if you decide to go auto. Fuck that though, manual is betterer.

That's the replica that AMG have built (the original red pig went to Matra who chopped it up and used it for testing fighter jet landing gear). Back tyres are the classic Countach fitment Pirelli PZero... 345/35/15.
                              Make it so!

Nice buy. I bought mine with the intention of doing an engine swap, but it was just too good as is.
                                There's a few w108s and w109s around here now.
We should start an old Benz thread
