We would be looking at months at this stage...

My next trip home of more than a couple of days should be for Chryslers on the Murray next year with the chugger.

Plus a new grill may take away from the shabby yakuza chic that is the 280 at the moment.....

If it’s a box or two that’s fine mate. Just let me know.

All good, had a look at their ebay store and not too much there that I need or can't easily be sourced from Pelican parts. if and when I do need it anyways.

          Thanks for the offer though.

Phone them up. They have mountains of stuff not on the website.
tbh I think the poor website is a major factor in closing the spares business.

Between the rest of the Canberra lads I am sure we can find space to store stuff if needed.

So finally got to do some work on it. I made the DBW mount and mounted the pedal. It doesn’t look like much but it was a bit complicated to build due to the way the VZ SS pedal unit mounts. It has lugs that slide Into a retainer and then two bolts at the top hold it in place.

Can’t paint it yet because all the paint is behind furniture in the shed.

scored a set of wheels cheap from the MB Spares closing sale. They look the part but need to be spaced out about 15mm for clearance and about 25mm for looks lol not sure how that’s going to happen legally just yet.

There is a guy in Melbourne that makes very nice spacers. I have a set of 25mm spacers in my W116 to fit the wheels I run.

I will dig out the details in the next day or so for you.

                      And found the details.

The company name is mywadapter. The spacers are a real nice bit if kit. Only thing to make sure is you get the right spacer for the front hub. If it's like the W116 the spacer is machined to fit over the lip on the centre of the hub.

                      The eBay store is:

                        Sweet thanks for that.
are you running bolt on adaptor spacers or slip on ones?

                          I run bolt on spacers.

As I said, great bit of kit, came with the bolts to attach them to the hub, and the guy was great to deal with.

Can't find a picture if them in my phone, but my thread on my W116, the Tuetonic Barge, has a couple of pics.

I’m still sus on bolt ons. Especially as no spacers are technically legal. I was thinking maybe I could weld them to the back of the rims. No less safe than spacers but at least they won’t attract the same scrutiny.

next time I catch up with the resident expert I’ll pester him about it haha
