Picked up bearing/gear remover's of the old man instead of buying so hopefully get some this week to get a pretty picture with all the pulleys and front cover on.

Sorry for the instergram filter's, forgot to upload these to imgur before making them fancy, so had to download them off that to then re upload.

Sheeting shaft done, need to buy tie rod's and rack end's to complete but still on fence if i will run stock X3 arm's or go a tad longer with X62.

In regards to the rear subframe and diff mount' they are complete, removed bushes put in the new super pro one's, added the camber mod plate's, got to clean it all up a bit but rear end is in for now, have to set it up as best i can, need to order some desk's and so on. but esentially the "custom" side of the fabrication work is done and it is now just neating item's up and painting them a pretty black.

Ended up taking the water pump off the engine to replace it and it turns out there was a bit of gunk in there, so going ahead and replacing the whole rear housing and flushed the engine out to get what i could out, how ever i now have to wait for the rear housing to arrive so engine is disassembled again and i will most lickly have to run some radiator flush product when i get engine running and hope for the best.

but pretty happy with the progress.

So it has been some time between updates and the whole suspension issue with the rears taking 11+ months to arrive. in the mean time i was not happy with some of the rear IRS swap so we have removed the diff mount and plan on re doing that to correct alignment issues and i have also purchased a X4 IRS diff mount to see how far off that is from bolting up.

I have also purchased the front coil over's and upgraded brakes. these are Bilstien front strut's AE86 spindle, cusco camber top's with FD rotors with EG Civic 262x20 discs and braided brake lines

Next step is to get some castor rod's and LCA,s and start finishing up the front end/steering

                      So small update,

Found an X4 rear diff mount and purchased it to see how far off it would be from fitting.

Here is picture vs MA61 mount

Mount wise it looks like just some threaded bungs welded in and it would fix the issue, however not 100% sure as the old custom welded in mount was still in place. so i will remove that and have a fresh look when i have some time.

Also got a delivery of the water pump and other little bit's, so i can finally finish the engine and put it all together ready to drop in.

Here is a random picture of my two bulldogs lol

                        Been sometime between update's

Nothing crazy has happened, purchased some MX62 Cressida seats to fit in. rear fit fine front need modifications but I have not looked into it too much if rails can be swapped etc.

The engine is almost finished just waiting for some sensors, belt. then I got to work out how I will do DBW

So here is my update when where I'm at given the present COVID/Melb Restrictions.

After months and months, my swift springs arrived, it was a hard choice on what spring rate to go considering IRS Swap, MX32 etc. no real information to go, I did some research based on MA61/X7s and cars of the same weight like Silvias and opted to start with an 8KG spring.

Current engine status? Well, one step forward two steps back? No, No Removed the ITB just before lockdown and dropped them off to EFI hardware to get DBW swap done. (See Facebook link below) I have added in some digital sensors, Why it is just a 2JZGE? The whole reason was to set this car up for the future as well as a spare parts engine for my other car's. If something goes wrong, I can remove a part and test it on another engine for troubleshooting. I have upgraded to Bosch wideband knock sensors and installed the Greddy Sandwich plate. The plan is to run Oil pressure on the hole you can see. The original plan was to run temp on the one you cant, but having to line the bolt up perfect for allowing that port to get oil I have changed my mind and have opted to go with a speed flow fitting with a port on it and screw it on the central outlet fitting.

I have fitted the X6 interior items, nothing crazy changes other than armrest and headrests at the back and of course style.

And engine mounts have been started

Good shit. I’ve passed a superbly clean pig eye in traffic twice in the past week. I wondered if it was this one.
Turns out, far too much has been written about great men and not nearly enough about morons

                              Not Mine sadly.

If it was Black then that would be Mark's. Also 2JZGE.
