    Vs ute

Corolla sent back to Goleby's as a roller. Using the drivetrain in this. Should be similar weight but

    A) Registerable
    B) I fit in it better
    C) Its not "Goleby's old car"

Weighed in at 1300kg without passenger seat (so similar to two Velo's), no spare tyre and no fuel cover. Corolla was 1260kg

Awesome! Me and Justin (ke26wagon) were talking the other week that if either of us is going to build another car it'll be a VR/VS ute because of how light they are and live axle still, plus a turbo LS drops right in. Approved!

Good to see another white pf ute in the build.
an easy fix is get a mate to drive in front of you at 60 then 80 then 100 and mark in on your speedo with some liquid paper.

Itíd want to be faster, itís twice the capacity. Actually a bit funny, doing a conversion to a motor thatís half the capacity of the factory optioned motor

Possibly obvious question - when doing a turbo barra into a VS do you start with one without ABS? I have vs berlina and can't see how a turbo barra would go in with the ABS gear where it is.
