What does this thing weigh now Chuck?

5ltr vp ute weighed 1350kg with full tank...should just get it under functional 1300kg
an easy fix is get a mate to drive in front of you at 60 then 80 then 100 and mark in on your speedo with some liquid paper.

Probably added 50kg with cage, bigger diff, wheels and tyres so 1270ish.

So, found that I was drawing ecu, start button (with a relay), vacuum pump and alternator trigger all through a 7.5 amp fuse (plus the dash lights that it was originally designed for) Hahaha

Have a ton of fuses I can use ie ABS, A/C, Cruise control, Power Windows etc

Anyone have an idea how much current draw the exciter circuit in the alternator draws?

Cool.I'd really like to get mine down to 1250kg without going to extremes but doubt it will happen.

Coming down for Sydney Drag Challenge?

On mine, it’s all in the alternator. I just need to feed it 2 amps worth of power when ign is on.

Got the gears set up, wasn’t that hard. Bit finicky but patience is the key (something I usually struggle with)
