Just got home, 1700kms of towing for 200 metres of racing haha

Yeah, car needs to be tech inspected and log booked. I need to get a medical and a license

Pretty fucking happy to be honest. “So this is what it’s like to finish a car....”

Epic effort, photo show loads of smiley faces as you launch it so must sound and look good going down the track.

Fished a project, thats grounds for a PF banning

I know next to nothing about drag racing, but that looked incredibly neat off the line for a 9 second pass. The time spent on the rear end looks to have paid off well.

Yeah works awesome. As an example, this is the other competitor in my class running a 6.35

I'm going to post pretty much the same thing in Dave's thread, but it must be a great feeling to put it back on the trailer in good working condition!

Go get teched and enjoy it.

Booked in for tech in a couple of weeks, just need to finish off the chute. Plan is to swap to alumastars and glass/carbon bonnet. That weight saving and a bit better 60 should get me my 5.7 (ie 8 second 1/4)

                            Thanks for your help, mate.

Besides the bonnet and rims, I’d like to get 35lbs out of the car. There isn’t much more power available from this combo so a little setup and weight loss should get me to my goal

edit: seems I’ve already said that lol

there is more power there, but less weight is always better

I like the 1/8th, lot easier on the car. I’ll keep doing 1/8’s until I have a 5.7
