Didn’t run 8.5, slip is wrong. According to the slip it covered the last 320 feet in a second. That’s 219mph....average. All the other increments seem to align, was an 8.99ish. Sucks cause I left thinking I had run an 8.5 and now I’m disappointed with an 8 second pass

I did notice the lack of mph on FB but I didn't want to be that cock. 1/8th time is there.
What were the changes or just a shot of gas and cooler temps?

Changes since it wouldn’t come up on the ‘brake are nitrous (0.8 second burst between 3000 and 4000) and plazmaclamps. Both rear 1/4 window covers left at the 1000 foot mark. Guy at the finish line comes running up yelling, “mate, some of your panels fell off” I was freaking thinking I’d never live it down if the guards flew off. The 8.5 never added up in my head, 35psi and 1.4 60 etc.

Going to have a week or two off it, spend some time with the kids then I’ll get to work on getting through the 8’s

Yep, now that I’ve slept on it, I’m wrapped. Seeing though I self reported the slip, I’m claiming 8.99 haha. Never thought it’d run an 8, first quarter mile pass, with only a 1.42 60. Can’t wait to work my way through the 8’s!

Those are normally well secured, did you do some weight saving on the screws?

The two screws (one a side) that mount them near the door had broken through the trims. I’m guessing 140mph of air got under them. All those marks polished off but they’re obviously now two piece...
