You bought an 8 second car and ran 11's, whose going to drive this one if it is going to run an 8?

.....if you think your going to roll in with a race weight of 1300kg and in the 8s you are sure to be disappointed. But if it's more like 1400kg and 9s then that's probably achievable. It's hard to go that fast and I think that you thinking it's so easy is putting a lot of peoples noses out of joint.

As I said, having the rest of the school holidays off but this arrived this week. 140amp Vs the standard 90amp. Was having voltage drop to 13.5v down the track so this should solve that. Also ordered a 2.5lb nitrous bottle as I don’t need to be lugging around the current setup when I’m only using less than a second of nitrous per run. Also looking at changing the fuel cell out to a better setup



Probably looking at a test n tune on the 13th Feb at this stage

Hmmmm

Going to cut the fuel cell down, more about fuel management than weight loss. It’s a 2 1/2 hour round trip for me to get E85 and I don’t like keeping it too long. Will still be 13 litres and will have a system in place where I can add 15 litres from in cabin for Drag Challenge events. I should get 4 passes out of a 13 litre tank and happy to top up at track.

Dumb question, can you keep the tank as is and just not add as much fuel if your not going to use it all, or does that cause surge/starvation?

Yeah, the fuel gets spread pretty thin in such a long and wide cell.
