Dropped the 2j motor to the machine shop today.

                clean
                skim deck
bore and torque plate hone to suit 0.5mm oversize pistons
                balance
                crack test crank
                fit billet caps

going to be about 6 weeks before it’s ready

There's a reason some shops are busy and have a long waiting list. In contrast, there's a reason some shops have no waiting list and don't have 100 engines waiting to get built

                            haha fuck.

You'll need to find thinner canvas for the tonneau too.

Absolutely. You're doing well to even get on the waiting list.
