So it turns out I cant get Hondata or anything for this ecu so what’s the hotness in piggybacking ?
I have an e420c and my idea is :
Leave all factory idle, VTEC etc to stock ecu.
Splice in and take crank and cam signals for triggering
Cut injectors and factory coils out and run from adaptronic
Run boost control through adaptronic
Does anyone know what factory I-VTEC profiles do approaching the stock rpm limiters and during wheelspin etc?
Bending rods at low rpm? Correct me if im wrong but that sounds like it could be fixed by retarding the cam and pulling ignition timing although i take it controlling the cam isnt an option with the way you are running the ecu?
Only be concerned if that Dunning-Kruger Motorsports bloke is there and goes all Captain Damphands McGigglefingers on you after a couple of lemon squashes....
Diff swap shouldn’t be a show stopper. Is there an AWD gearbox that can be used that’ll survive?
Turns out, far too much has been written about great men and not nearly enough about morons
