ID:	7077174Just picked up this Iggy Sport 2004, for a cheap thrasher while i sort my E36 out. A bit rough around the edges but i felt the price was reasonable. Only mod was some LED headlight globes and completely fucked tyres.

Picking up some wider wheels for it this weekend and fitting hankook rs4s, for the roadworthy. LH fog light is broken so have to fix that as well.

first track day is winton in about a month. rear sway bar is something im chasing but if i cant find something i may have to buy coil-overs and go heavy on the rear spring rate?

first fwd car ive owned. alot to learn.

but how cool are the recaro seats!

    Love these things.

I've not seen those foglights before.

Love it... nearly an identical twin of my silky silver Ignis Sport nugget.

Great fun with a few tweaks, from previous Ignis related thread [https://performanceforums.com/forums...ort-warm-hatch] below is list of mods that I have done in past 12 - 18 months and has really made it a great little thing to throw about for very few $$$:

      - Cusco strut brace + master cylinder brace,
      - Cusco Type 1 & Type 2 under body braces,
      - Cusco C pillar brace,
      - QUAIFE 2:1 steering rack (limited 200 unit production),
      - Whiteline camber adjusters,
      - Whiteline rear sway bar (no longer in production),
      - DBA T2 disks + QFM A1RM pads + HEL braided lines (Motul fluid),
      - SuzukiSport Carbon intake (no longer in production),
      - SuperPro polly shifter bushes,
+ other cosmetic and interior bits and pieces to clean it up, reduce rattles, and modernise.

Haha fuck I'm sure it set the strip alight.

Have fitted new front and rear rotors, Project Mu HC800 pads and whiteline camber bolts. Initial bite feels like it lifts the rears slightly. Wild.

Coil overs and carbon airbox won't be here before Broadford in 2 weeks.

Not sure what to expect lap time wise, maybe 1:14? Dunno. I can't drive FWD. I fucking 180d it leaving Officeworks and ended up some shops driveway in the damp before Christmas so I'm not sure how my lap time will be.

I learnt the hard way too, wakefield..lifted and back came out hard...the trick is to floor it so the front wheels bring it back. Once you get use to it its fun!

And it's real hard to get the right foot to keep into it when 99% of your track driving has been rear wheel drive cars.....

You made me look at Ignis Sports on Gumtree.

                      This one looks cool:

Curious to see what coil overs you decided on... and your thoughts once fitted.

That blue one looks a fair bit tidier than mine!

The coil ovcoil have coming are Suzuki Motorsport branded ones. I'm not sure who actually made them. Damping adjustable on the body. Think the spring rate is a big increase on stock.

It doesn't have the fog lights though! I think they look really cool on yours.

I think I should get the fog light housings painted.

First track day of the year has been cancelled, Broadford had been resurfaced and it sounds like there's been a fuck up or two.

Disappointing but gives me a bit more time to get fully sorted
