You do see more of them around - and with a small section of angle, they direct the intake noise directly into your sunroof.

A mate has one on a lightly breathed on TD42. It sounds good when you're up it, but it's annoying as fuck on long trips.

The safari snorkel with ram head became annoying on dad's old Pajero diesel, he had a unifilter insert for his Safari snorkel on his PA2 Challenger.

Watched the latest action 4wd Cape York youtube episode last night.

Far out were they pushing everyone to comment or thumbs up the page.

Every 5 mins it was "Comment your thoughts below" "Thumbs up if you like.. "

Yeah that made it look like amateur hour I thought.

And I get they have to make money from advertisers, but it's getting out of hand now. There'd have to be 20+ product placements in that video.

Yeah, has to be a better way. It makes it too painful and loses its appeal on the honesty when every camper trailer does it so easily, never has dramas.

I think they would be better off with a subscribe type deal like unleashed.tv rather than youtube

This is a cool museum. Especially with weird cruisers like the PX10 that I'd never even seen before.

I noticed HEMA maps LC105 is there as well as the LC200. I had laugh at the ex RFS or CFA troopy in the thumbnail pic.

Has anyone used maxxtrax or similar? Thoughts? I'm thinking with these and a winch there aren't many situations i can't get out of - given I don't intend on doing anything hardcore.

Work great in sand and situations were you just need that little bit of distance. Can get you out of very sticky situations. Also useful where 2 cars might get stuck and can be used for the recovery car.

Awesome product. Used them when we bogged the wives XC70 on the beach.

I have some Supercheap Auto knockoff MaxTraxx and they worked a fucking treat on sand at Redhead when I didn't drop pressure enough and fucked the show. I thought high tide was going to ruin my day, Pretend MaxTraxx saved the day. If you notice them on sale grab a pair, mine have paid for themselves saving me that one time.

They are pretty good, one of the few things you can safely/quickly do on the beach if the stuck car doesn't have proper recovery points.

If youre patient wait till supercheap have the storewide sale on (next one for Bathurst?) then get anaconda to price match and beat by 5%

I did on boxing day and paid $188 per set.
