It's more like a 1/2 cage, with bolt in side intrusion bars and the diagonal you can see that runs from the middle of the main hoop to the passenger side footwell also bolts in. They need to be removed for street use. It's hardly a road car. I wanted it to remain road registered so I could drive it to the dyno, exhaust place, panel shop ect ect. Other than that, it will be trailered.

              Cal.

Yeah, just figuring out what they consider a bolt in and what they dont. My celica is probably going to get a similar sort of cage sometime.

If that was my car for the street, id smash an SR in it and enjoy it!

Love the colour, and the overall look is awesome.

Thanks Teejay. That's what the green one is for. No SR, but supercharged and thinking of pulling that off for a turbo instead next year. No real need to go to the trouble of doing the conversion, though plenty have.

                    Cal.

                          Cal.

N probs, I know what I like and what I dont like, and I certainly like that. Has that raw look to it, no rice as you mentioned. Turboing the existing motor is always an option and its silly to overlook it.

Yeah Cathy ran & was driven really poorly at Sandown a few weeks ago...then the flywheel let go, smashed the clutch & tore the end off the crank. Its all back together now with a better flywheel, clutch etc.

Waiting for another track day & also for me to ressurect some skill.
