The 2B cars can run quad throttle bodies, slicks, no headlights, fibreglass panels blah blah.

1.55 is the same time I was doing in the type R running full GTP spec (ie heavy)...so in reality to do it in a pretty cheaply put together MX5 is bloody good going I reckon.
i'm upset i lost that video of that aboriginal woman taking a dump on a train that was on youtube

DC2, GTP spec so pretty standard (engine wise it was just an open exhaust after the end of the standard headers...other than that it was just carefully bolted together & stock. Had motec management), good suspension & a decent cage. Depending on how fast you went in practice it weighed anywhere between 1250 & 1290kg (parity FTL)

perfect man, i know a bloke running 2:10's in his and it has every conceivable mod and brace known to man, i also beleive it has shed some weight.
In all honesty I reckon the cars got a fair bit more in it. We had run a total of 32 laps each in the car on Friday and Saturday before the race yesterday. I still feel like I have a lot to learn on a lot of the circuit. It is technical beyond belief and I was being a bit gay through turn 1 and also the final turn coming onto the straight. Neil reckons he was flat there every lap. I think I found the balls once. I must have made it up somewhere else though. There are hardly any corners that are standard brake, turn in, apex and exit. All funky lines that are really hard to work out. The suspension never really got sorted and the tyre pressures yesterday were way to high. I reckon given a couple more days there a couple of seconds might be found.
