im in the exact same position and looking for the same kind of car with same price range(but only manuals).

were looking at 97 and 98 mazda astinas, mainly due to the interior compared to the competition. maybe there a car to add to the list..

I have a friend who raves on about his parents Astina, saying its awesome and he wants to buy it when they are finished with it...

haven't got much choice

as far as I know toyota sold them for only a few years (96-99 rings a bell)

they were all 55kW twin cam 1.3 litre with 5 spd man or 3 spd auto

my driving experience with them indications they are rocket fast to about 60km/h and they tail off after that

a shame the imports are not available
