I dont know about those 2nd hand XR turbos anymore. 1 that I sold a few months ago apparently failed soon after it was fitted.
It seemed fine when I had it but a "turbo specialist" told the new owner that it probably had oil starvation from the when the previous owner had it. It broke and killed the housings.
6boost manifold would be nice but I reckon Geoff from Snort will look after me better. Ive dealt with him before and know of quite a few cars running his manifolds with no issues. He is more local as to me as well which is good imo.
Autos are cheap and available everywhere.
Do we think a 35r has enough in it for a 10 in a falcon?

Its in there. He was using a .82 rear housing and ran an 11.2.
He has since sent his car to rajab and dropped a bucketload of cash upgrading everything.

You should be able to see that thread.
Did you try registering? Its probably not worth it. :S
The site is a bit of an abortion with a whole lot of 16 year olds on it now who like clear indicators and neons.
Basically his car has a stock motor, crow cam, valve springs, injectors, adaptronic ecu, built BTR with a standard stall. Snort manifold, ebay wastegate and GT35r with a .82 rear housing.
With 315 ish rwkw he ran an 11.2 at 120mph.
He is able to launch at 8-9 psi with the standard stall because it is so responsive.

It definitely cant hurt.
I will see what he says. If my insurance money comes through Ill get something sorted shortly.
If I buy new for the turbo, manifold and wastegate then that will solve any issues that might arise from using 2nd hand parts.
That AU I had was awesome to drive. It would have weighed a fair bit more than the EF too with its leather, electrics, bodykit, big brakes and 19's.
That went 11.8 at 120 on approx 15psi with a 35r.

Boxes are about $150 2nd hand and take a few hours to swap over.
Its probably easier to do a turbo, manifold swap but a lot more expensive if they break.
C series boxes cost a fortune down here too. Upwards of $4k for a decent one and no-one here will guarantee a C series box behind a 300rwkw + turbo falcon motor in a heavy falcon.
But then again there are BA's running 10's with BTR's so who knows.
