              Okay, minor rant here.
The standard of spelling and English here isn't terrible, but at times it is rather poor.
As mentioned above, there's the usual crop of boo-boo's, such as here/hear, brake/break, wrecker/wreaker, lose/loose, your/you're, but the other ones that shit me are the Americanisms creeping in.
              Litre/liter is one, metre/meter, extractors/headers, gearbox/transmission, tyres/tires, colour/color, problems/issues, maths/math are others. My pet hate is arse/ass.
Every time you choose to use an Americanism, our own Aussie English dies a little - You're a sell-out.
I'm an Aussie and very proud of it, I speak Aussie English and will not let my standards slip to that of a sub-dialect.

Which one is Aussie? I use liter and meter. Is this correct?

                    No.
Our modern English has a lot of French influence, hence the French spelling of those words - litre and metre.
The US spelling is influenced by Sesame Street.

Another sub-standard use of grammar is found in apostrophes. They are heavily misused in all English based langauges these days. A common misuse is CD's, which should be CDs. Plurals do not have apostrophes. CD is recognised as a word in modern language so a plural s is applied directly to it.
Another tricky one is 'its' as in 'its engine'. Although possession is usually shown with an apostrophe, in this case it is not..
Quite a few people I meet are not too far out of university/higher education, yet cannot use an apostrophe properly!

I believe its and it's are both interchangeable these days.
At least I use them interchangably :D

'Then' and 'than' always confuse me, so I just use them alternately.
