Dont know about the rules and regs so much.. but when I bought my car it already had the pod on it... I had to look about the engine bay a bit more than I had ever done previously and found that although there was a pod installed the original box that it was installed into had the original air opening of just on 2.5 inches.. so not that much more air would have been able to get in anyway... I need to do something about that...
It takes energy not to get used to it.

        Based on that:

I looked it up and found reference to 195/55/14 on the pulsar forum.
Still 30mm over and so what I posted still apllies.

Ahh management... pissing in your shoes and then forming a committee to see why your socks are wet.

I think your thinking of the victorian law where there aloud only 1 intake modification, but even that has to be engineered.

Pod filters are often what people get defected for as its so obvious. If you wanted to get rid of it maybe you could get a stock airbox from a wrecker and sell the pod, with the cash left over make/buy a CAI.

What if you have 3 quiet intake mods?

Don't see what is so stupid about them. In a hot engine bay yes, but in a well set up box or out in the air I don't see a problem. Plenty of people use them on race cars as you'd know.

Engine bay mounted pods are stupid. I agree with external use (except they mostly suck at filtering)
