        plus 2 is the biggest u can go.

        so if it had 14s standard, 16s is the biggest u can legally fit.

        open pods are illegal on any car, turbo or NA.
        intercooler makes no difference.

        coolers are legal either way.

            I think the main reason Pod filters, or any open filter for that matter, are frowned upon is that they are noisy. The standard filter box also doubles as a muffler for intake noise.

              isn't there also a percieved issue with bonnet fires?

              They effect emissions on a lot of cars too - *anything* that effects emissions is a no no.

                Dude the n14 and n15 pulsars have a decent airbox on them with a factory snout/feed that you can put a decent cold air feed to.
                Who would of thought you'd get pulled over with those rims on?

                  I would like to see how many kw a pod filter adds to a pulsar....I'm thinking the number would be huge and well worth the agro it attracts from the cops

                              I've been pulled up a lot of times in my soarer by RBT's and never once have they given me lip. I have a pod filter as well as lots of other things, but the wheels have toyota on them and it's not dropped to the ground and you can't hear the pod filter sucking away when it's idling because there is a cold air box around it.
