Speedflow + Braided Hose + Mounting so the hose doesn't abrade other hoses and parts = $$$$ + headfuck

ive been told that the spanners are made to break before the fitting does... they are supposed to be 'weaker' to prevent fuckups

I've never seen one break and i've seen some pretty nasty loads applied to those spanners when jammed fittings occur.

no it doesn't. go to bunnings and purchase some clear 'aquarium hose' and some zip ties. This comes in many many sizes.

run a cut length ways along the whole and use it as a 'cover' for the braid. This will prevent the wire from acting as a saw, and from rubbing.

I will add, that if u decide to run with braid, ensure your car has HEAPS of earth straps to ensure the braided lines never act as a body earth. It doesn't take alot for the braid wire to glow and generate heat that can melt hoses.

don't ask how i learned this lesson.

Clear heatshrink also works and its a much nicer finish you just have to get the lengths right.

Even when you take all the right precautions the stuff can still bite you.

There is that blue flame resistent ubeaut Ryco hose that is braided internally. So it can't cause problems due to the metal being on the outside.

30 cents buys a box of matches, or 50 fires...so its really cheap I assume?

They are probably the best option i have seen since you can't buy the full bore ones like my drawing. At least you can flip them around to get in where you want. I might invest in a set.
