      what do you want done??

we have a nice little package for them that makes them handle and eliminates the axle tramp,

with this package daves ute 60' in the low 1.5 range, with out it mine only 60's in the mid 1.6 range

      it consists of

      Bilstien rear shocks,
      Harrop diff cover,
      new springs all round
      rear cradle bushes,
      rear camber kit

      that makes them handle great,
after that you can put in bilstien front struts but the pedders lowered struts work a treat and cost half as much,
      im a cunt
and apparently i dont know shit...

that will make it handle but dosent address the major problem areas like the rear cradle slopping around,

the harrop diff cover is a must if you want the car to handle as are the cradle mount bushes, this ties the back end of the car together and makes it feel as 1,

the diff cover also holds another few litres of diff oil which keeps the temps down,

we went through all this with daves maloo

hey dale, it's not so much for launches but for corner carving at places like wakefield. What sort of $$ figure is all that kit going for?

          thanks

              totally understand that,

with out the diff cover your got big problems holding the cradle tight, the diff cover fixes this

ill work it all out for you, the shocks are the dear part,

Dale, i did a run up through Kangaroo Valley on Sunday on the way back from Sussex Inlet and the axle tramp was ummmmm, easy to find shall we say ??

Will get exhaust, tune etc done first i think, then look at suspension after i throw some 19's on it...
The older i get, the better i was...

You'll probably smash me on account of mine being auto Gav, but yeah, i'd give it a go... I reckon i can punch out at least a 1.13 in her current handicapped state... If not, give me a drive of yours !! :D

Of course, at WSID i'll own you. Put in "D" and stomp it, not even i could fuck that up !! :w:

I'd fucken like to see that. Not saying you couldn't do it, I know you must be a gun driver cause of the IPRA etc, but still, 1.13 would be nuts in a stock auto car.:w:

paul I'll give you a buzz when i have a date worked out for when we go to wakefield to christen the taxi. prob april.

Not sure what laptime I would do. I did pretty well in my old sti but nfi with commie. the car fundamentally feels ok just needs to be a bit stiffer i think rollwise and a bit more grunt.

                              Sweet mate, keep me posted...

6.97 - Nah, i can't drive and was just geeing up sejanus mate... :D

I did a 1.12.9 in a very very basic road going RX-7 (<180rwhp, stock single spinner diff, stock brakes, shitty pedders stuff and supra 'box) and that would still hose the SS around a track. It "might" do a 15 if the planets aligned and the brakes held out for a really hot lap...

I've raced against a (S1) VT that had great suspension and brakes with a decent 304 that did high 10's so they can be made to go ok though... A tough manual LS1 with HSV/Harrops and a good set of Bilsteins could probably go 9's with a decent steerer easily enough...

Dale, are there any similar exhaust power up kits for a BA/BF xr8, you know, a proper V8! :D

I heard one with a modified exhaust and yeah, I think I know what my next car is. NFI what exhaust was on it though.
