thanks dale. it does sound good, just wish it was louder at full throttle- hopefully that'll happen when I pay for more ponies

I've discovered that with the exhaust, doing a slight blip of the throttle when near a 4 cylinder turbo car is like waving a red flag at a bull

      hahahah yes it is!!

once you do the front of the system the sound will double!!

Extractors completely change the note of an LS1, even the shorties on mine makes it sound deaper. I have not heard a catback only system that I liked myself. I have read that aftermarket cats make it sound nicer again.

the new systems we are using sound tops in cat back form,

when coupled to a set of extractors and stainless cats they sound horn and they work damm good!

this is the same system on a VZ 6L L76 with the same extractors and cats i would use on sejanus' car,

btw i call BS to everyone (not necessarily ppl in this thread) who said I'd be getting 18-20l/100km all the time.

Over the weekend i did a fair bit of driving, 290km's, about 50/50 highway use and suburban/traffic use and the odd squirt.

I reset the fuel computer thingy on the sat morning and now after all of it it says my average speed was 61km/h and the average fuel was 12.2l/100km which i think is pretty decent for a big motor.

                You're driving too slow then.

I get the same sorta usage from mine too, providing you dont stop it everywhere they arent that bad on fuel.

Are these custom built systems? I have a stainless Difilipo and I am not really happy with the sound, way to much cackle, what are these like for cackle? Are they suitable for use with a small cam?

Makes my 30L/100km look a little excessive, especially considering the tonner weighs a fair bit less.
