the toyota 7 race car (featured in GT4) is about 650kg and has something like 800hp. i cant find the power and weight figures right now. its a 70's gran prix race car

so thats less then 2kg per kw

its twin turbo, twin cam V8

here is a rendered image (gt4 perhaps?) of the rear of it

another car is the suzuki escudo. someone can check the stats on that. they didnt call it the monster for nothing

Of course there are plenty of racecars with better stats than 1kg/kW I assume Nero was asking about road legal factory cars. There are tons of modified "street" cars with better than 3kg/kW - basically anything that runs tens or better (or 12s if it is a Supra ), even my old piece of junk was better than 2kg/kW.

If you want to play racing cars, then I guess the Brabham-BMW turbo F1 car would be the winnah.

600kg and around 1045kW in qualifying trim.
          0.57 kg.kW.

                  Bill think engine go BOOM.
That looks like the low-profile BT56 (I think) and they had huge problems getting the engine to run properly.
It's all in that turbo book I lent ya.

                          Top Fueller, 1000kg inc driver, 5000+kW (conservatively) = 0.2 kg/kW :D

Probably, I think I have one apex seal left! That's what happens to a daily shitbox with over 200,000km on the clock

Mate they could light-up the rears in 6th gear without too much trouble.
I think they had trouble not sliding them around everywhere!
