Mitsubishi are selling off all their EVO IX's (with performance pack) cheap to make way for the EVO X, no one wants the old model...

That MY04 is suspeciously low in price. 33k is MY02 money.

All too true. From the photo its a bog stock WRX. Standard scoop, rims, foglights and spoiler.

Thats why you get an expert check such as STi docklands or URD Auto in (in melb anyway) and your much less likely to get a stock one with mods history than one thats been treated reasonably well (unlike me who was about to purchase a stock MY99 then found out its history :rotflol: ).

I reckon just get an MY02 STi. MAjority of the depreciasion has already occured, and you get 90% of the thrills of later model STis (although apparently later model STi are alot better later down the track or so I;ve heard).

There is a well modded one on Rexnet.
The owner has spent BIG $$$$ I think its an 04 sti.

He wants roughly 50-55k but has spent over 100k including purchase price.

Could not have put it better myself, 2.5 FTW, 2.0L FTL (when your spending around 50k)...... just get him to lease a few more bucks.

                          Everyones getting excited about 2.5l

What about the common beliefs in WRX circles that 2.5's dont like being leaned on ?

If your going to mod it hard the Ej207 is a trooper.

the black MY05 with the pink springs and CES belongs to a mate of mine. it is a great car and well looked after I can vouch for it.

Forget about anything earlier than an MY05. The front wheel bearings are garbage and there was no easy fix on my MY02 STi when I had it.
