Best place to sell a car?

I have a shitbox lancer mr with fibreglass all over it to sell. I married her so now its my problem (not the lancer, the b(.)(.)bs that were in it. Where is the best place to sell?

    Trading post? Carsales?

I just cant wait for the teenages to turn up, ask for test drives etc etc...

Carsales.com... took me a week to sell the LS400 (also gets added to carpoint.com as well). Pay for a premium ad, like an extra $19.... more pics and more exposure

Trading post is a joke now Telstra / Sensis own it.

I'm also in a similar boat not looking forward to all the sik carnts that'll be coming to look at my WRX (test drives).

Sorry to disagree guys but I've sold 4 cars in the past 5 years and had each one advertised on carsales and had no luck. I really didn't want to go with the trado but the moment I did the car sold (usually within a week!).
Seems like carsales is the place to look to see lots of pics, but doesn't usually result in the sale.

                        Sold a bike on bikepoint.com.au
Bought a car from Unique Cars/Carpoint.com.au

My view it is purely fucking luck of finding the peron who is looking for a car like yours at the right time and on the right medium. Sometimes it is quick, sometimes it takes awhile.

4-10k, but i guess that shows where the majority of interest lies with trado readers....
