the elephants foot in chernoybl is freaky... as is watching old footage of helicopter pilots dropping dolomite onto the reactor core whilst catching a lethal dose of radiation.. theres even a video of a copter crashing into the fuel transfer crane.

I'll have a dig at parents place this weekend for some photos. There's some I have of a crashed bomber up in cape york and a few of a landing strip out in the middle of nowhere in SA near camerons corner with a fairly rusty old caterpillar dozer at one end.
My dad and his mate once found a massive 4 lane road going through the bush down in gippsland I think, you first go along this bumpy old goat track, then all of a sudden you come to a clearing and there is this almost highway going through the bush, apparently it was built to get trucks to a dam building site but the dam never went ahead.
