Ring Competition Friction and ask for Marty. He races an 8 and sells all different kind of brake stuff. He might have some spares.

No, a whole car is far too much investment. I got a quote for $500 for the parts minus rear calipers. Not sure if this is good

Find out what the new parts are worth and compare?

Well, the part are for Godiva, so I do not need all the other bits...but they are not that easy to get. Perhaps I should lurk in parc ferme at targa!

so you definately need E4 and after? because there should be plenty of GSR bits like that around.. because people buy a E1-3 cut.. and then they have two sets.. i know most of mine got thrown out..

The later cars have a different rear suspension (I have not seen the earlier cars) or so I have been told. What is your take on the different models?

evo 1-3 are the same style as the GSR.. evo's have cast suspension arms (at least in the front) im sure the later models would have very simular suspension.. just the earlier stuff might be hella easier to get hold of..

true, but the other consideration is the intended use. If I am to release the plans for Godiva and the build life might be 3 years, then those that decide to join the madness will be looking for an older part that will be increasingly hard to source.
The Evo 8 I had a look at also seemed to have the same splines in the hub as the 380...this will seal the way to go if true. As you know it is not easy to find evo bits sitting on the shelf all over the place.
