I thought i could get a little advise
I have the opportunity to buy a mechanical business for 50k including stock (2 hoists and shit)
My boss is giving me the shits at the moment and i would like to do something like this but i am having second thoughts
Should i give it a go or keep putting up with my (unt boss for a while
The books say it made 70k profit last year and the current owner says it pulls in a bit of cash to
What are the advantages and disadvantages of being you own boss

working for wages sucks balls , wasted so many years of my life doing exactly that.

I have a mate with a shop. Do a calculation to see if you its worth it

costs:
- wages
- rent
- overheads (receptionist, light, gas, electricity, maintenance, etc)
- stock

income:
How many hours do my mechanics have to charge before I cover these costs?
The difference between this number and the total hours worked (less lunch, smoko, fuckups etc) is your margin. The parts margin adds to that.
