    now it only uses around 25L an event, although it needs more than that in it for the fuel pick up. it gos out nearly every weekend. now, obviously it will need a race o2 sensor. but as its not street registered and never gets driven other than at events i think with a good tune it could be a good way to snatch a heap of extra power out of the 1jz without changing turbos.

    What Turbo is it? What boost is it currently on? Do you wish to change that at all?
    In general C16 is useful because it allows a lot more boost than pump fuel, and also is very safe as you are not walking the knife edge quite so much. With a good tune it would be fine I think, although only really worthwhile if you are making use of the benefits of such a high octane fuel. You would certainly need a different map from pump stuff.
    I don't get what you mean by race o2 sensor? Leaded fuels will cut down the lifetime of an o2 sensor, if that's what you mean?
    The only thing that I would do is keep an eye on the spark plugs as you may find it fouls them a bit, might depend on driving style and tune.
