                Both Nissan and Toyota had them in their 4x4s. Toyota had a 236-cubic-inch six-cylinder engine that was basically an updated clone the Chevy stovebolt.

                  wikipedia has a list of toyota engines, some F engine fits the bill, 3.9 litre straight 6.
