TRD tied the Corona GT axle down just nicely thanks.

Sustained high speed down hundreds of KM of dirt all done 30 years ago.
Car loaded with spares for the Class A Corolla that won the rally.
Four jerry cans in back three fuel 1 water and three spare tyres. and wheels.
Sustained driving at 120-150 for hours and hours.
Elanora to Alice up the Gunbarrel. The Tanami Loop. Alice to Port Augusta in 10 hours and Jackson Corner to Brisbane in one day, all without incident.
I think we broke the end off one shocker at Bon Bon Station.

    No big deal.

Good article on how Toyota cheated. Pretty clever!!
I was digging around some of my files, and found this diagram of the devious device. Klever Kunts.

      Marc Kelly
'76 1380 Clubman (I really should fix it)
'86 AE82 Twin Cam (cunts trashed it, gone to the wrecker)
'85 JD Camira rally car (I trashed it, now its a Lanos)

hmmmmmmmmm...They measure up inlet diameter wise so would be deemed legal, I wonder if they sounded different in tone, with the extra air coming in from around the outside?
