                interesting.

                On the Mainline dyno it spun up 570rwhp to record that MPH.

                Had the motor not let go at heathcote, I wonder what the 720rwhp would have delivered MPH wise?

                  Nope not Moroso slide.

                  I just do the calcs

                  The web calcs are based off the Moroso slide and the formula is

                  HP = (trap/234)^3 X weight in lbs

                  Seans eg.
                  HP = (140/234)^3 x 3300lbs
                  HP = (.59829)^3 X 3300
                  HP = .214159 X 3300
                  HP = 706rwhp

                  Then I usually X 85% to put that in DD numbers so 600rwhp or 450rwkw.

                  You can estimate trap speed from HP as well if you want.

                  720rwhp would be about 149mph

                  Also, this method has been very accurate on nearly all the cars I have tried it on. The only one that I remember that it differed greatly was the Top Alcohol car of Mark Brew at 259mph. However, when you are getting to that sort of power levels I think any HP estimates are going to be "very" estimated. FWIW it was about 2500rwhp IIRC.

                    So 14 more rwhp gave a 3300lb car 9 more mph???

                          Nah chuck-

                          weight and trap speed gives a moroso calculated 706hp, but measured RWHP was 570.

                          So if Measured RWHP was 720, the moroso calculated number that you'd use to work out potential trap speed would be a bit over 900.

                          approx 150 mph was what I was expecting-had it held together..........

                          Never fear-there are 1FZ things afoot. Will advise when it's confirmed.

                              I'd say 110-114mph

                                I would have thought slightly more than that. I ran 114 in my XY (assuming the weight would be very close to each other) and my CLV00 is only putting out 450.
