however - he has been through 3 sets of OEM pads and 2 sets of OEM discs in 40'000km...

i got him the endless pads so at least he's have brakes after 5 laps - he fully stays out for the whole 15 min sessions too - stock everything!

i reckon it says alot about how tough those K series engiens are... over-engineering FTW!

he did 2.03 at eastern creek as well...

Sounds like the Honda works fairly well in the tune they've brought it here, it gets a thumbs-up over the other two. Which I didn't expect!

Interesting. I took a GTi DSG for a thrash last night and while it's a thoroughly impressive/competent car there's a rawness missing...it needs a bit of mongrel thrown in.

I wonder if the CTR has this element?

Am I the only one that wasn't 100% impressed with the DSG box? Pushing the car, it felt 100% but drive it normally in traffic/bumper to bumper and I found it to be quite a bit of a bitch to drive smoothly.

If you just look at the 0-100km/h figures it may seem {to be quite a bit faster than a golf GTI }. It's down at least 80Nm on its competitors. That counts for alot.

LOL, yep, you are right - the truth comes out as the "claimed" 0-100 figure was 6.6

the "tested" time is now 7.8...
