Haven't they detuned the hatch from 160kW to 148kW for Oz?
Wonder will they do the same with the sedan, making it a pointless exercise?
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

yes - they did it with the DC5 and DC2 too, citing 'poor fuel'

so yeah, but at least it will handle better than the hatch...

For oz? it's the same power output as for Europe and the USA.

The Japanese Type r engine is a further development of the engine found in the Civic Si in USA and the Type R in Europe and the Integra Type S we get here.

Honda can't be too clever if they drop nearly 18kw with a drop of octane from 100RON to 98RON. Renault can make 147kw (clio 197) on 95RON with no fricken VTEC.

honda must be really desperate for ideas, old type-r's were real sporty 'looking' cars, the prelude wasnt deemed type-r worthy yet this sedan is.

Although there was the integra type r sedan...

I'm pretty sure the Renault engine has variable valve timing; ain't many cars that don't these days!

It's funny in one way if we get the sedan-Honda has two attempts at a hot hatch/sedan in this market with completely different styling and they both look like shit. Ironic how the last Prelude looks great and they never had a Type R of that....

The last Prelude looks ultra boring... yawn.

Type Rs have never been about looks. The old civic and integra type Rs all look crap
