id consdier the nizpro option if the price was a bit better but then id take the car for myself and buy something else for my girlfriend (i.e. second hand 2002 convertable 350z detail the fuck out of it, and just tell her its new)

Bear in mind that the $50k was because it was a prick of a job to do the first one & he hated doing it...so he said he wouldnt do it again but had 3 more customers basically say name your price...so $50k was it.

I think they had an M800 in them...but perhaps the last one used a reprogrammed std ecu which would be nicer.

Oh, lift the bonnet you cant tell its not stock, it sounds standard at idle & small throttle openings but at WOT it makes whooshing noises. Can you cope with that?

I just read in a mag that this new engine is actually completely different to the previous model...its actually just a smaller capacity of the Navara 4 litre but obviously with changes upstairs.

Id be contemplating a proper build, atmo. 4 litres, overbored to say 4.5...some good pistons & rods, fiddled heads, cams etc

It will be good...it has lots more bottom end torque & more top end power too.

Just dont expect to be able to bolt anything from the earlier ones to it...like turbo kits etc.

I too have heard this Simon from a number of people. AVO or Nizpro if it was my money.

I've heard some dodgy shit about them as well ... i'd go Nizpro for that alone.

have you considered a supercharger kit for it? there are a few on the market. plenty of USA 350Z forums about too.

I think 350z's with an exhaust sound very nice! one with a turbine up that exhaust would sound better.

We had a 350z in at work the other day with a CAPA Vortech kit, wasn't the nicest fit, we didn't like the extra fuelling system and 'timing controler'' either (very american) but went ok, made 230rwkw @10psi.

its a good thing compared to the earlier engines, as they were a fwd motor made to do a rwd job, and now its a rwd motor doing a rwd job.
