Speaking of Supras I have access to an 93 model RZ (twin turbo) 6 speed, for 15K. The owner is the first owner in Aus since imported, owned since 2000 and is looking for something more sensible.

I'm trying to stop myself from buying it!

I have had a drive of Peter_Vod69's pooprah and it isn't a bad thing, seemed to tramline a bit to me but that's probably just the wheel/tyre/alignment combo. also keeps up with my stock 06 wrx in overtaking/roll on up to 160ish. steering is very positive, but will greatly benefit from freeing up the exhaust and intake a bit. i was giving him shit about getting it before he bought it and why doesn't he just get a twin turbo, but the NA's are a nice bit of gear. don't even think about putting a real person in the back though, even with the seats all the way forward installing speakers in the rear was a cunt.
      yep

I drove an SZR around Wakefield and was quite impressed. No ball of fire in a straight line but okay, and I thought the handling was actually quite good. Just enough grunt to hang the tail out in the faster corners, and I reckon a better chassis than an R33...

I reckon for the same money in most instances you won't get a much better looking car either, it looks the sex every time I go to drive it. I don't think I've washed a car so often because of this...

fdrx7; no offence caused mate, but hey, I own one, you'd expect me to defend it! I just think they are an underrated car. But yes, I'd probably like my next one to be a TT.

              Well im 2m tall...

I morally/legally shouldnt drive a FD RX7 as for me to do so involves having virtually no immediate access to a brake pedal due to the absolute lack of space in the footwell and cockpit.

Never had an issue fitting in the JZA80, even when I was much larger.

Yeah I was pretty disappointed when I sat in the FD - I've always kinda lusted after one, and then realised that I couldn't fit comfortably.

It's not advertised and I have have first option on it. I was thinking I buying it and stripping it down and turning it into a dedicated track car. If the idea falls thru I'll let you know.

                    Well, der.
Not that they look that good, mind you, but people obviously buy them 'cos they want a 2dr they can afford ... especially when so few people would know the difference in appearance between the n/a & turbo models. Plus they're RWD, which is important when you're trying to impress your friends while talking about how good your car is.
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

Bloke at my old work had a 94 manual and it went okay. He riced it up something chronic though - 20" chromies, flibreglass bonnet and shit. But he wanted something that looked good, and went alright when he wanted to put the boot in. With the exhaust on it, it did sound nice wound out, but had no fuknwhoosh I think he paid $16k or something for it which we all though was way overpriced though.

Hmmm, A777 seems to fit in his S7 and he's not exactly a small man! Although he does take up most of the cockpit - on a couple of occasions I've been elbowed in the chest during 1-2 gearchanges.

I think 14's are possible with minimal mods.

You get really good with twisting your foot to hit the brakes. It's amazing how quickly the brain adapts. Could also get a new steering wheel like everyone else does but then you lose the airbag

the problem id have with owning one is that there are so many TTs around. If you pulled up at the lights in yoru NA and there was a TT next to you.....
everytime you masterbate god kills a skyline.

LOL !! Yeah, of course it does. How do you explain the fact my 100% stock AUTO LS1 absolutely walks away from the young fella at works n/a Poopra ??

And we leave work at the same time, day in, day out. He has been thrashed more times than Guidos Mum at the lights of the M4 tollgates and so badly that he doesn't bother anymore...

The n/a Supras aren't a bad thing. I have driven his and it was not bad at all. But it's far from fast. I'd save a few more dollars and go TT everytime...
The older i get, the better i was...
