    because they look fat

you can't tell me 33/34 skylines, soarers, supras, 300zx don't look like a party of fat girls?

but they are cars of the 90's where ABS and twin bags is all that was necessary

eg. my skyline is 1,350kg or so

i think even mid sized sedans like honda accords euros and the more performance hatches are all heavier

        Had a N/A 5spd.

Had a run with an AU 5L XR8 once, it was pretty much neck and neck. My ride was bone stock and he had a full exhaust and who knows what else.

The car has potential. I love the chassis. So I sold it and had to replace it with a TT.

Got bored of that so now its running a T78.

You'll enjoy the supra I dont doubt it.

I think it was wheels that said "The Toyota Supra Turbo will never be called a sports car whilst the dictionary contains the words 'elephant' and 'rollerskates' "

i remember reading ZOOM or speed magazine and they rated the NA supra very favourably. It was a while back. I can recall them saying the 2jZ loves to rev?

can anybody tell me if the TT supras are thirsty stock?
How many kms do you get out of a tank?

My R33 GTR stock only got 290-330kms. And that was normal driving.

I had a 5spd NA supra, thought it was alright. Then I dropped the TT engine ( + 6spd and everything else ) in and it was sooooo much better. Then single turbo, sooooooooooo much better.

                ...etc

Its pretty easy to get the car to handle the power, it just seems to love it, and gets power to the ground pretty well.

Yeah I had a factory stock 1999 RZ stock TT. Got around ~470km out of it. The earlier models seem to get around ~500kms out of a full tank.

The late models run pretty rich. 10:8 on WOT.

Supras are great off-boost. Still plenty torque around the streets. Even bore and stroke FTW.

                          Well said.

It's kinda like.. if the super-hot sister isn't an option, the almost as hot sister that still puts out might be an option for you. Not for everyone, but if it does what you need...

Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

If I had been prepared to commit myself to more debt at this stage I would have probably bought an RZ Supra, but the fact is that I'd rather settle for at least having the right chassis for now, and perhaps upgrading to a TT with the next car.
