From my understanding, this was a rather large hunk of concrete/cinderblock. Roughly the size of someone's head, which is exactly what it ended up hitting. I believe the people involved were dropping these things onto a highway and did not realize the victim's car had changed lanes. It was my first experience "knowing" someone who had killed another person outside of those serving in the military. Terrible thing to happen and completely avoidable.

So apparently they were being dick-heads by throwing eggs into a party. Things then got heated between them and some party goers and a rock was thrown through the car window, hitting this guy on the head.

If he'd hurled a rock & it smashed a windscreen or something it'd be "meh", but when someone goes to hospital it tends to be taken more seriously. Especially when it's really public!

in a fit of rage who really sits there to size up a small rock to throw? you find anything next to you and throw it as hard as you can because remember THEY WERE IN A FUCKING CAR and the other guys WERE ON FOOT.

unless you can run 100metres in 9 secs i think that catching them and beating the fuck out of them is out of the question.

im sure anyone else would throw anything and everything they can get their hands on, it was a unlucky/lucky shot however you look at it and it was unfortunate it hit him in that spot
