    I figured so, just being a smartass

    the MINI has a similar thing, there's a button you hold down to reset the pressure warning, which just works off the ABS sensors by comparing wheel speeds. It's sensitive enough that when you rotate tyres front to back the alarm goes off due to the different wear.

      That sluggish below 1500rpm feeling does seem pretty common now days doesn't it!

      The new V8 Cruisers are the same, similarly the pathfinder and patrols

      I found myself stalling the new cruiser where the old 4.2L NA diesel would have had no dramas at all! Have to adjust driving style I guess.

          Used to drive one - fucking loved it!

          APR make a chip for it.

          It flutters ULEH!

          Handles fucking great compared to the Patrol I had, (which I used to shit my dacks taking corners in) and all other trucks (cept the Cayenne and X5)

          Does very well off road

          The E70 4.8 V8 is a bit more gutsy/pokier down low but misses out on the torque oomph midrange.

          I'm looking at an R50 but the mrs likes the new fucking X6...

                Guy I was speaking to the other day has one in townsville. I asked him to come fishing on the weekend now that he had a 4WD. He replied with "its not that sort of 4WD is it?"
