I'm with FatBoy, I use the trailer more then I have people in the back seat. If it wasn't for our parents bitching about driving places even though we have bought them newish cars then a ute would be in the driveway.
If I could get a trailer with seats then everyone would be happy :D
If you love sporting a mullet, the ute is the only way to go.
It's a real sports car! And the No Fat Chicks stickers along with the 4 10' long CB aerials just look dumb on an FD (well, any RX7 really).
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.
Everytime i kick my shin on the cunt of a box trailer in my yard i regret buying an SS sedan instead of an SS ute. I knew i should have listened to Spammy - he knows all. And i'd have been about 15k better off.
you are mad, I would give my left nut for a ute instead of the family car but last time I checked department of human services deems occy strapping kids in the back of a ute "Child Abuse"
I believe it's OK if you use the "lap-sash" occy-strap arrangement.

I think you'll be pissed off with how slow they are after owning an FD.
If your not towing anything around then get the turbo ute in a manual. They are around the joint for the price you want.
Failing that, an XR8 / SS V8 ute would be a crap load of fun.
If your thinking V8's the Ford is the better car stock, but the SS has more available boltons and would be the better car for mods.
