The 1996 version had 2.5 litre 90° V6 engine pushing out 490 PS (483 hp/360 kW) at 11,900 rpm, it had top speed of around 300 kilometres per hour (190 mph) and the car weighted 1,060 kilograms (2,300 lb).
I must admit though, the mid 90's DTM's were downright sexy (downloading the
'92 review atm). I dont think they rev'd past 12 though (I know the Mercedes was around the low 11's at peak). Still bloody impressive for touring cars.
