Mark Webber has proven that he would have flipped it, then got into the spare car and given it another full blooded go.

Its an awfully expensive exercise,... traipsing to the far side of the globe with a super racer, only to discover that the antipodeans have not worked out how to make a moderately flat racetrack yet, and thus your DTM weapon will ride like a roller skate across a galv tin roof and probably leave a very expensive smudge on a very cheap concrete retaining wall.

Still reckon they are poofs for not giving it a nudge tho.

Yeah all the tracks in Europe are flat... not.
They race these things at Brands Hatch which is not flat (although not the GP loop which is even more hilly).

Of course some ex-DTM cars have also raced in Netherlands and in the Nordschleife series.

Anyway the DTM cars are heavily paritied just like the V8SC. They're not that interesting IMO.

No doubt! We're still comparing a spaceframe chassis with bespoke pushrod/double wishbone suspension to a modified road chassis with a 9inch, 4link/watts linkage and wishbone/strut front suspension. Even if off the truck is no good they can surely tune it to suit.
