Well I raced at QR yesterday and could hardly tell the difference. The only slight thing I noticed was it was hard to tell if you had a wheel locked up or not. Times were normal.

I thought it was great. With a bit more rubber down it will be better than ever. The main difference I noticed was when coming out of the dipper into the left on the sprint circuit I actually had some traction for a change. One chap in the saturday sprints actually came up to me and said, "that was awesome I wish I had my camera in the car you had your left front wheel a foot in the air coming out of the dipper!".
Spoke to John about this thread, and his response was that the SBR car that was ónly' doing 1.15's was out there for a corporate day, not testing, and was told the surface had not cured due to the rain, and had the option of postponing. The same car came back last thursday for the scheduled test day, when the track was right, and did a 1:10.15 and politely asked if I might inform my friends in teh intahnets!!!111one1

It didn't and frankly I don't think it's going to. The owner keeps telling me it will be there for me to drive, but the guy that runs everything seems to have other ideas.

I don't think its the drifters that screw it up... The bumps into the turns are the problems don't think the drifters exactly cause that

The drifters are constantly dragging dirt and gravel (circuit racers do it to a much lesser degree) onto the track due to their inability to keep it on the black stuff. That wouldn't be a problem except the track maintanence staff are to fucking lazy to sweep the track on on regular basis.
