You forgot that Josh's mx5 is red though (well shades of it in some parts). Red cars are faster you know

My mate has a modded up his xt forrester and tbh it's soooo much nicer than the wrx's! In saying that his is more performance orientated.. There's something about the outbacks and forresters and their roll center which makes them have insane turnin and i honestly believe better handling than the wrx... In saying that he hasn't gone down the cocksucker route..

He does have $3k worth of brakes, 2k of properly matched firm shocks and springs, and a TD05 and pwr cooler hanging off the EJ25, It's a very punchy reliable daily! Looking at about 170kwatw atm on stock boost. Should be able to bump it up to about 190 with a reflash and 2 more psi we think..

oh and as for GTrydaz... i heard the owner was a complete total and utter cunt who does his best to rip off this and that company (with "sponsorship deals") to get freebies for himself..

Those that bag them would have not been in one!

I love mine and would only sell it to free up some cash.

I get to call cunts because its only taken me 7 years to hit 1000.

I will have a stab and say that it's something to do with Down hill Mountain biking?

That or it's something about Subies,

BTW a mate had a 2.5 Outback that he modded and jeez did he cop some shit about it being a bit of a lawnmower, We used to ask if the had the sticker on the dash yet where you move the lever from Rabbit to Hare.

Just before I bought mine I went down to the dealership & sat in a WRX hatch & asked myself why I wasn't getting one. Came up with 3 answers:

WRX can't get an on mountain permit for Buller
XT is soooooooo much nicer inside
                        XT draws less attention.

Now that I have the XT & the Buller permit, i'm looking at lowering it subtly enough to help with the body roll, but not enough to give the game away. (Buller regs are min 200mm clearance, which the XT is stock, WRX is 150mm)

I have fitted some Adrenalins & Ferodo pads, and also have a 22mm RSB & some slotted rotors sitting here and am on the lookout for a good strut/spring combo.

Will only feel safe upping the power once the handling & braking are improved.

I found that insurance was much cheaper for XTs too.

The leather interior is sooooo much nicer! Especially when tackling those windy mountain roads... Fold down the armrest and sit in comfort while your driver takes you to the edge! :D

I know I asked you a million times already, but what spring/strut combo did you come up with?

I'm hoping that with WRX wagon springs & maybe STi struts it will handle much better, but won't look slammed & give the game away.
