    Also was your source quoting Euro NCAP or US NCAP?

    US NCAP ratings use a different testing platform, they test the barrier hitting 100% of the front of the car, Euco NCAP test 40% to better get a reading of a typical head on crash.

    Can't seem to find a good site with alot of cars.

    The euroncap.com site doesn't have alot on there and that howsafeisyourcar.com.au doesn't list them too.

        So the "5 star" rating is from the NHTSA test which is a different test to the Euro NCAP you were comparing it too above.

        So you can't really say it's a comparison huh..

        Still the newer US trucks do do a good job of staying togeather now.

        That is for the F150.

        The Silverado got a M on the IIHS testing which is rather shit.

        Also mention that the F150 got a P (Poor) and failed the rear collision test in the IIHS tests.
